“Dear Karin and Don, We arrived home as you know yesterday. I wanted to thank you for helping us have this amazing experience. I am overwhelmed with getting myself back on task here. So I have not actually had time to completely process all that we saw. Every detail that you planned was carried out to perfection. You left no stone unturned. Each camp was unique and its staff fabulous. I am just beginning to download photos and unpack treasures. Thank you again, Nina” Saslove Family– August/Sep 2010 – Booked through Don at Corniche Travel.

"Five Star! Anastasia's Travel was exceptional, I would use them again. Every aspect of the trip was first class and seemless. Hi Karin, Keith and I both greatly enjoyed the trip. Everything went very very well and there were absolutely no issues.
Meno A Kwena was rustic, but fabulous and a beautiful setting. The zebras were migrating so it was a gorgeous sight viewing them from across the river. The food there was INCREDIBLE, the best we had. And the management so nice and personable. Normally, I would say I'm not a fan of rustic, but this place was magnificent!
Savuti was fabulous. The setting and the people were great. It was amazing to see the elephants, giraffes and kudus right from your lodge or the dinner table. The game viewing was great and we had a great guide, Gwist! We saw 9 lions and 7 leopards and got really up close and personal. In addition, we got into a huge herd of elephants that created it's own excitement. Tongabezi was also fabulous. A great way to relax and unwind and prepare to face reality. It was a beautiful setting and a peaceful, relaxed environment. We really liked the way they trated you individually and tried to do something special for you while a guest from eating at the lookout to dinner on one of their boats. I could definitely get used to being spoiled - from having meals on the table at our request to having a bath ready every evening. FABULOUS! And Vic Falls - amazing and beautiful!! We even went to the Devil's Pool.
Thanks to you and your team for great coordination and a fabulous agenda. Frankly, I was hesitant about a second safari trip because the first one was so amazing. Guess what, we were not disappointed!! It was unique in it's own way and completely amazing. I have come to the conclusion that I LOVE AFRICA!!Thanks again,Karen and Keith Metz – Sept 2011 - Booked Through Zicasso Travel

Karin, The trip was great. The safari was amazing and the people at both lodges were great. Some of the nicest we have ever met. Capetown was also a blast. It was a perfect combination of safari and city. Thanks for all your work in setting it up. We had an amazing time and I will recommend you to all of my friends who now want to go on a safari. Karin: Reaching out to you post-Morocco...It was an extraordinary adventure and trip for Jocelyn and me—truly, truly, unparalleled. Latif and Abdell were fabulous as our guide and driver. Two weeks is a great deal of “togetherness” with non-family individuals and both men could not have been more accommodating, informative, easy going, helpful or gracious. The itinerary was so comprehensive. We felt as though we saw nearly the entire country (which we did!) and had such a great sense of the country after two weeks. The accommodations were incredible! Jocelyn and I are still talking about the rose petals on our sheets and towels at the Riad Maison Bleue. The dromedary excursion realized one of my life-long dreams—I am still thrilled over the memory. Paul was very attentive while we were traveling about and I was impressed that he checked in with us by phone to monitor our “happiness” level. I am thoroughly spoiled after this trip you planned and do not want to travel any other way! So, thank you, deeply, for the time, effort and superb planning you spent and did on our behalf. I look forward to planning another trip with you! Linda Linda & Jocelyn Rheem Family - May 2011 - Booked Through Don at Corniche Travel

"Hi Karin: We're back from Africa! We returned yesterday.......I don't know where to begin - this was the best trip that we've ever been on - and we love to travel! Every place you put us was fantastic. We LOVED Tongabezi - how romantic! I felt like a kid in a candy store! We took the helicopter there and also walked with the lions and cheetahs, which was a highlight. Thanks so much for all your wonderful selections! "Anastasia’s Africa were more than I had hoped for. At the beginning of my trip United Airlines cancelled my first flight & I missed all my connecting flights. They re-routed me, but instead of landing in Ethopia, I landed in Nairobi (and 12 hours later). Anastasia's Africa made sure I had a contact in Nairobi in case my flight to Kilimanjaro was cancelled. I felt very secure and all the accommodations they had arranged for me throughout my trip were excellent. There was always someone to meet me at each location. All of the guides were very kind and knowledgeable.” Barbara Wong– July 2010 – Booked Through Zicasso Travel

We are being spoiled rotten with champagne, rose petals, chocolates, delicious dinners and over the top service. We absolutely love it here and just keep looking at each other saying "WOW, WHERE ARE WE?!?!" haha. We are off for our horseback riding wine tour, but just wanted to say a little hello and thank you for all the planning and work that went into our honeymoon. We will never ever forget it and love the people here.

“Dear Karin, I meant to write to you sooner. I just wanted to let you know that our trip to Egypt was wonderful. Our guide was fabulous. She was great with the girls, extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to be with. She took us to see things she knew the girls would find interesting and paced it perfectly for them-and the heat. The coordinators in Cairo and Luxor were terrific. We didn't have to think about a thing-everything was handled beautifully. Thank you so much for making the trip so memorable. We're still recovering from the long trek home, but wanted you to know we really enjoyed it… All the lodges were great. We really liked being able to talk with the owners and hear their views on Kenya.” Walter & Susan Noce– Aug/Sep 2010 – Booked through Rhoda at Corniche Travel.

I recently explored the less discovered, Malaria-free, Eastern Cape of South Africa and the region known as The Great Karoo.
After a quick flight from Johannesburg to the Eastern Cape’s gateway city of Port Elizabeth, we were whisked through miles of citrus groves to the bushveld of the world renowned Addo Elephant Reserve, staying overnight at Woodall Country House – an award winning boutique hotel nestled in the heart of the Sundays River Valley. Renowned for its gourmet cuisine,…

The untouched Southern/ western safari circuit of Tanzania is truly authentic Africa. This area was once crisscrossed by the famous explorers including Livingstone, Stanley and the famous Big Game hunter Selous. Now we have wild life enthusiasts armed with cameras and binoculars!”
This prestigious award is handed out once a year and was presented in New York City.
The Southern safari circuit consists of several world renowned game parks- Selous, Ruaha, Katavi, Mahale and Gombe, and what makes them even more special is the ability to go game viewing by boat in the Selous or even by foot with an armed ranger, as well as helicoptering to amazing waterfalls near Katavi and visiting chimpanzees at Mahale and Gombe.
